Insurance Claims
You can choose First Class Auto whether you’re just starting the claim, already have an insurance estimate, or have already been directed toward another repair facility.
In Texas, the customer has the right to choose where the vehicle is repaired. An insurance company may recommend shops or provide a preferred list, but the customer is not required to use one of those facilities.
Once we have the vehicle and understand where the claim stands, we can help take the repair process from there.
We inspect the actual damage, review what the insurer has written, communicate directly with the adjuster or estimator, document additional damage when necessary, and help you understand the available options before the repair moves forward.
“Your insurance company might give you a list of body shops, but you can take your car to any shop you choose.”
Any Stage
It doesn’t matter how far along you are. Call us and we’ll pick it up from there.
We can assess the damage and help you understand what the next steps look like.
Send it or bring it in. We’ll review the estimate against the actual vehicle and what the repair requires.
You can still choose First Class Auto.
We document hidden or supplemental damage and submit the repair information to the insurer for review as a supplement.
We have extensive experience with damage assessments, repairability, vehicle valuation issues and total-loss situations, and we can explain what we’re seeing.
Out-of-Pocket Cost
Let us look at the repair before you assume what it will cost you.
Every claim and repair is different. We look at the damage, the insurance estimate, what the repair actually requires and what you may be responsible for personally.
Depending on the repair and circumstances, there may be legitimate options to help reduce or manage your out-of-pocket cost.
Ask us what may be available for your repair.
Experience
You don’t need to understand every line of an insurance estimate. That’s part of what we’re here for.
We work with all insurance companies, and we can step in on a claim that’s already underway. If an estimate has already been written, we’ll review it against the vehicle in front of us and communicate directly with the adjuster or estimator from that point forward.
An initial estimate is written from what can be seen. Once a vehicle is disassembled, additional or hidden damage often turns up. When it does, we document it and submit the repair information to the insurer for review as a supplement.
We also have extensive experience with repairability and total-loss assessments — and we explain what we’re seeing so you understand what’s happening with your vehicle.
You bring us the situation. We’ll help you understand the best way forward.
